My major is Literary Studies Emphasis, and my minor is Writing Emphasis. I live in Springfield, Missouri. My favorite color is blue, but I also like green and yellow. My hobbies include reading, writing, hiking, puzzles, and playing video games.

I will read pretty much anything that someone throws at me, including non-English material (as long as it is translated). Manga (Japanese comic books) is my favorite non-English material to read. I think my two favorite series are Full Metal Alchemist and Fruits Basket. FMA is actually about two brothers trying to find a philosopher stone so while I am reading St. Leon, I have this manga in mind.

I can never pinpoint a favorite author, but I know that I definitely do not enjoy Tolstoy or Faulkner. My favorite book is always in flux so, at this moment, it is The Throne of the Five Winds by S. C. Emmett. The best way that I can describe this book is that it is a historical, Chinese drama, but set in a fantasy world. As I am a sucker for historical, Chinese dramas, this book is like a chocolate fountain for me.
